Our Pre-k/Kindergarten registration event will be held on Tuesday, March 24th from 12 - 2 pm and 4 - 6 pm. We hope to see you there!

The City of Galax will be paving Maroon Tide Drive & Circle Drive beginning tomorrow morning at 8am. Only 1 lane will be open for travel and no parking will be permitted on Circle Drive. Students who typically park on Circle Drive can park in the junior lot while this work is being completed.

Also, as a reminder, it is an important safety measure that parents NOT use the bus loop for parent drop-off/parent pick-up. Thank you!!

We’re excited to share that shirts will be available for purchase at the Community Pep Rally this Friday! Shirts are $20 each and come in sizes Small–2XL. If you’re unable to attend or your size isn’t available at the pep rally, don’t worry—a Google Form will be shared at a later date so you can still place an order.

15 years ago today our boys team brought home the 1st Boys State Basketball Championship. This morning our Girls left on a mission to bring back the 1st Title for Girls Basketball... also against Luray.

I spy the Galax Maroon Tide Band, who for the 2nd year in a row has earned the privilege of being named a VIRGINIA HONOR BAND! The Maroon Tide Band traveled to Virginia High today for their Concert Assessment and brought home a Superior Rating — straight 1s across the board!

We are extremely proud of these talented students, their dedicated director, Nick Meredith, and their very supportive families!! #GalaxReady

Please join us as we send off the Maroon Tide Girls Basketball Team as they head to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

The team will depart from the high school at 8:30 a.m. this Thursday morning. They will travel down Maroon Tide Drive, where middle and high school students will line the street to cheer them on, and then continue to Academy Drive so our elementary students can do the same. Next, the bus will travel down Main Street before turning onto East Stuart Drive and heading to Richmond.

A special thank you to our police and fire departments for providing the escort!

We invite the community to join us along the route to show your support for our Lady Maroon Tide Basketball Team. The girls would be honored to see the community cheering them on as they leave town.
