VDOE has released it's annual accreditation results. We are proud to announce that for the second year, Galax High School has been named a Distinguished High School.
The School Performance & Support Framework looks at each school’s academic performance and growth, student readiness and attendance, and — for high schools — students’ preparation for postsecondary success. Each of those four indicators are measured by multiple components, such as student proficiency on state tests, student growth year to year, graduation rates, absenteeism and other factors. #GalaxProud #GalaxReady
